FREE LIVE WORKSHOP FOR DOCTORAL WOMEN
The Breakthrough Weekend
August 1 & 2, 2026 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm EDT both days
Live on Zoom
Two mornings of real work — identity coaching, live writing, and a room full of women who understand exactly where you are, because they're there too.
You got into a doctoral program — that question was settled years ago. You're behind because of the drift: the thing that doesn't look like quitting, it looks like busy. Reading about the dissertation instead of writing it. Reading books about how to finish your dissertation. Saying “I need to read more before I can write”. Guilt at 11 PM. A voice that says you should be further along.
The drift doesn't end with willpower or a quieter semester. It ends when the thing gets named out loud, in front of witnesses — and when you write before you feel ready.
That's what these two mornings are.

Why You Keep Losing Summer Momentum
A clear understanding of why your past summers slipped and the specific pattern that's been running underneath, every time.
How to Work With Your Inner Critic
A new relationship with the voices that show up the moment you sit down to write — and the language to recognize them in real time.
Your Real-Life Summer Writing Plan
Your Summer Commitment: an eight-week plan you actually believe you'll do. Written in the room, sized to your real life, anchored to who you're becoming.
What Writing in Community Actually Feels Like (VIP)
And for VIP scholars, the live experience of writing in community with structure, so you know in your body what's possible this summer.
Day 1 - Name it. (free - Saturday, August 1)
Deep identity work in a track built for your doctorate - choose the PhD Track (research-forward) or the Educator Track (problem of practice: EdD, DNP, leadership-bound) and do the work in the language of the path you're actually walking
Live coaching woven through every session, with a WTDD coach in your breakout room
A five-minute writing exercise that has restarted more stalled dissertations than any productivity system we know
Your workbook, free and yours to keep
You'll leave Day 1 with your milestone named — specific, dated, twelve weeks out. Not "make progress." Proposal defended. IRB submitted. Chapter sent.
Day 2 - Write it. (VIP - $25 - Sunday, August 2)
☕ The Pomodoro Writing Café — a real, focused hour of writing alongside your cohort and coaches. You'll leave with pages that didn't exist at breakfast
🎓 The Alumni Panel — finished Phinishers answering the questions you'd only ask someone who's actually done it
🕯 The Closing Visualization + Wisdom from Future Dr. YOU, your keepsake journaling companion
📼 14-day replays of both days
After 3 years of barely making progress... within a year, I finished. When I started, I didn't even have one page of my proposal written. Now, I'm a Dr.
It feels impossible all the way until you're done. You might be so much closer than you think.

I've been doing this work since 2018. More than 30,000 women have come through my programs, my podcast, my community.
The number one thing they tell me after they finish, after they defend, after they're walking across the stage with their doctoral hood, is some version of "I didn't think I could do it alone, and it turns out I was right. I never could have. But with you and the women in this work, I did."
You don't have to white-knuckle this summer.
You don't have to do it alone.
I'd love to see you on June 13 and June 14.
BIG LOVE,
Dr. Amy
Yes. The work is about how you relate to the writing, and it meets you at any stage.
Research-forward → PhD Track. Practice-forward (EdD, DNP, problem of practice, leadership-bound) → Educator Track. Unsure? Choose Educator — a coach will help you sort it live.
Come tired. Day 1 asks you to be honest, not impressive. Exhaustion is practically the dress code.

Come as you are. Bring it as it is.
